Barry Smith
Partner
Barry was educated in Fraserburgh and graduated from Aberdeen University in 2003. After completing his Diploma in Legal Practice in 2004, Barry joined an established Aberdeen firm to complete his traineeship. After qualifying he continued to work in Aberdeen before joining Brown & McRae in 2007, being assumed as a partner in 2010. Although based primarily at our Fraserburgh office, Barry also regularly sees clients in Turriff.
Graeme Walker
Partner
Graeme was educated in Edinburgh and is also a graduate of Aberdeen University. He worked in Edinburgh before joining Brown & McRae in 1995. Graeme was assumed as a partner in 1997 and undertakes all the firm's civil & criminal court work, Employment Law work and Alcohol Licensing. He is also able to advise and assist in Family Law matters.
Steven Gauld
Partner
Steven was brought up and educated in Fraserburgh and is a graduate of Aberdeen University. After completing his Diploma in Legal Practice, Steven joined the in-house legal department of a large multinational corporation in Glasgow. Steven thereafter joined an established Aberdeen firm to complete his traineeship. After qualifying he worked at the Stonehaven branch of the same firm before returning to Fraserburgh to join Brown & McRae in 2012, being assumed as a Partner in 2015.
